1980 Haia Convention Conference

On the occasion of the celebration of its 10th anniversary, Rogério Alves & Associados is honored to invite you to the “International Conference on the 1980 Hague Convention”, which will take place in Lisbon on November 17, starting at 9:30am, at the Salão Nobre da Ordem dos Advogados located in Largo de São Domingos.

The conference, sponsored by the International Family Law Center, will be attended by the following speakers:

Dr. António José Fialho, liaison judge at the International Network of Judges in The Hague;

Francisco Javier Forcada Miranda, liaison judge in the International Network of Judges in The Hague;

Professor Anabela Gonçalves, associate professor at the Law School of the University of Minho;

Dr. Maria Mendes, Attorney of the Republic, teacher and coordinator of the CEJ family and children's jurisdiction;

Wendy Vander Stroom-Willemsen, lawyer and member of the International Legal Institute in the Hague;

Véronique Chauveau, lawyer and specialist in the 1980 Hague Convention;

Lorraine Schembri Orland, Malta judge at the European Court of Human Rights;

Dr. Carlos Melo Marinho, judge judge of the Lisbon Court of Appeal.
